WIP - TIE Fighter

This is a Work In Progress piece, but I decided to stick this in the main gallery (for now) in the hopes of getting a few pointers. I'll probably move it to scraps later on, if/when I post a finished version.

Areas I wouldn't mind some pointers on, if anyone feels so inclined: The joining bars between the cockpit and the "wings", and also texturing - I've seen people use textures that replicate the "mechanical / metalic" surface of a TIE Fighter really well, but haven't been able to duplicate the effect with my efforts. I know other areas need work, but I think I can get them right with a little time on my own.

This is rendered in Bryce and cleaned up a little in Photoshop (Bryce did not want to let the diagonal struts on the wing meet, so I touched them up with the blur tool for a bit more professional effect).
